Credit Risk Management Analyst-Munich, Germany-Salary: €130,000 +





Leading European Energy house seeks a Credit Risk Management Analyst  to work on quantitative problems of credit risk management in energy trading.

The candidate will perform reconciliations, evaluate complex deals, and validate exposure calculations within the new product process.
Moreover, you will improve credit exposures and internal rating methods. You convince us with a degree in economics, mathematics or physics and a good understanding of credit risk in a trading environment, of statistics, probability theory, and financial mathematics.

Role:
-Work on quantitative problems of credit risk management in energy trading.
-Perform reconciliations, evaluate complex deals, and validate exposure calculations within the new product process.
-Improve credit exposures and internal rating methods.
-Provide energy credit support to the credit team.
-Development of credit exposure calculation engines and reporting tools.
-Ad-hoc portfolio credit risk analysis and reporting round off your tasks.

Ideal Candidate:
-Degree in economics or its equivalent, mathematics or physics,
-Professional experience and project management experience preferred,
-Good understanding of credit risk in a (preferably energy) trading environment,
-Knowledge of statistics, probability theory, and financial mathematics,
-Good IT skills (mainly MS Excel, MS Access-both incl. VBA),
-Fluent in German and English.
